BRIDAL SHOWER

Bridal showers are often given by any friend or relative who would like to hold a special event for the couple. The shower is usually not thrown by immediate family because it would be considered asking for presents.

Every bride is entitled to at least one shower. It is often the made of honor who volunteers to throw the shower, and the bridesmaids help.

This is the only time it is acceptable to include gift registry information in the invitation since the bride and groom are not sending the invitations.
