GARDEN WEDDING

The Bride and Groom

The Ceremony
Having a garden wedding is easy. Use what is around you for inspiration. Try using park benches instead of chairs for seating. Hang things from the trees like lanterns, beads, or chandeliers. And a trestle makes the perfect alter.

Place Cards
Hanging your place cards from a laundry line is a cute touch.

Drinks
It's no garden party without some homemade lemonade. Lemonade is refreshing and goes perfectly with the theme.

The Reception
For the reception, don't be afraid to use bright and vibrant colors. With a grassy green backdrop, the colors are sure to pop! Remember to always have a back up plan just in case the weather gets unruly.

Centerpieces
To create garden centerpieces you can use floral arrangements or take it a step further by adding items like branches, bird cages, and candles.

The Cake
I love the contrast of these cakes with the theme. They fit the garden theme without being floral.

RUSTIC WEDDING

The Bride and Groom

The Bouquet

Bridesmaids
Sundresses and cowboy boots create the perfect look for rustic inspired bridesmaids. Stick with dull colors for the dress for a vintage feel.

The Ceremony
To get a rustic feel during the ceremony, try to find a location with wood beams, a stone fireplace, or tin roofing.

Place Cards
These cinnamon place cards are simple to make and cheap!

Guest Book
Instead of putting out the typical guest book, have people write love notes and leave them in a distressed suitcase that can be bought at any antique store.

The Reception
The best way to create a rustic/chic look at your wedding is to have the wedding at a barn and to install beautiful chandeliers. The contrast between old and new creates the ambiance.

The Centerpieces
To make the centerpieces you can use anything from antlers to flowers.

NAUTICAL WEDDING

The nautical wedding theme is perfect for beach weddings, beach lovers, and venues with a lake view. Pull the theme together by using items from the beach, boats, and the colors navy and tan.

Engagement Photos
Using fishing nets, sea shells, and/or starfish at the venue or in pictures creates a nautical backdrop.

Invitations
Using rope instead of ribbon on the invitations is a creative way to close the envelop. Talk about tying the knot!

The Bride and Groom

Bridesmaids
Using navy blue and white as your main colors is great, but don't be afraid to add another color like yellow, red, or green for accents.

The Bouquet

The Ceremony
Using soft chiffon draping, dried grasses, seashells, and star fish at the ceremony all set the mood. Even if you aren't near a beach or boat you will feel ready for the open seas.

Guest Book
Instead of the typical guest book, why not have them write a message in a bottle. You can keep the bottle and/or break it on you anniversary to read the notes.

JILLIAN & MELISSA'S WEDDING

The Invitations
Invitations set the tone for the wedding. These fall inspired invitation are a great way to share the theme with your guests.

The Bouquet
Don't be afraid to mix up colors. Adding pops of color here and there can create stunning effects like this amazing bouquet.

The Brides
There is nothing I love more than a ball gown...except maybe two! These dresses compliment each other perfectly.

The Place Cards
These are the cutest place cards. Not only are the rocks adorable, but the way they are displayed on a blanket of moss is so sweet.

The Bridesmaids
The Bridesmaids wore green chiffon dresses in different silhouettes. This allows each bridesmaid to have a flattering silhouette of their own.

The Reception

The Favors
These apple cider mix favors match the theme perfectly. I love favors that can be used and enjoyed.

The Cake
The basket weave cake finishes off the perfect details of this fall wedding.

Grand Entrance
"My favorite part of my wedding was our grand entrance into the reception. At the very last minute we decided that he would lift me up onto his back and we would run in. All the guests were talking about how surprised they were. It was so fun just to let go with my husband and go crazy in my big white gown! It was the perfect start to an even more perfect night." -The Bride
